Playfina & AffPapa: Live Compliance Page Beside Australian Blocking

Published: Updated: 2 min read

Last reviewed · Editorial policy

InfoBets investigation into Playfina & AffPapa, with the complete historical artwork published by AffPapa clearly labelled as source material.
AffPapa’s published artwork concerning Playfina, preserved within an InfoBets editorial cover.

AffPapa still hosts its Playfina partnership article & a live compliance page. Australia’s regulator warned Dama N.V. & Strukin Limited over Play Fina, while its updated 2026 report also records playfina8.com in the authority’s quarterly blocking list.

Evidence cut-off: 2 September 2026.

Correction & source clarification — 5 September 2026. The warning chronology now uses ACMA’s verified July–September 2023 reporting period; 21 September is the source page’s update date, not a freshly verified signed issue date. The later seal entry now states its actual 11 October 2024 grant date & private Fair Partnership scope.

What AffPapa published or retained

The reviewed sources include AffPapa’s Playfina partnership article & compliance page. Their exact dates & status are set out below.

What the authority did

Australia — ACMA: separate formal warnings named Dama N.V. & Strukin Limited in relation to Just Casino, Betandplay & Play Fina. ACMA found prohibited interactive gambling services with an Australian-customer link. The official blocking record includes playfina.com & later playfina8.com.

Chronology

  1. 1 March 2023: AffPapa announced its Playfina Partners relationship.
  2. 20 September 2023: ACMA announced ISP blocking of Play Fina.
  3. July–September 2023: ACMA’s quarterly report records warnings to Dama N.V. & Strukin Limited over Play Fina. The warning page was last updated on 21 September; the signed issue days have not been independently confirmed.
  4. 11 October 2024: AffPapa’s Playfina seal lists this grant date & names Dama N.V.. It certifies compliance with AffPapa’s Fair Partnership rules; it is not a gambling licence.
  5. 21 August 2026: ACMA’s updated January–March report listed playfina8.com among blocked URLs.
  6. 2 September 2026: AffPapa’s partnership & compliance pages remained live.

The question this case raises

What review connected the warnings to the later seal? Its Fair Partnership scope is private; it is neither a gambling licence nor proof of permission in Australia.

Reply record

InfoBets’ record says AffPapa & the relevant brand were invited to reply by 20 August 2026, 17:00 CEST; none was received by the 2 September cut-off. Silence is not an admission.
