Man City relegation odds slashed after guilty finding
Betfair Exchange has City at 4.9 to go down, while Ladbrokes & Coral suspend all team outrights on the 2026/27 Premier League.
The hit
Manchester City have been found guilty on 114 of 115 charges for breaches of financial regulations, according to The Athletic. William Hill, bet365, Paddy Power & Sky Bet acted quickly to suspend their Premier League relegation markets. Ladbrokes, Coral, Betway & BetMGM went further, suspending all team-related outrights on the 2026/27 Premier League. City say the process remains ongoing.
Why it matters
The verdict has flipped City’s season odds on their head, according to Betfair spokesperson James Mackie, who said news broke on Friday afternoon. A club that started the season unbeaten & top of the league now carries a slashed relegation price. Arsenal have been backed in as title favourites on the back of it.
The record
| Charges reportedly proven | 114 of 115 (The Athletic) |
|---|---|
| Man City relegation price | 11/1 to 9/2 (Betfair Sportsbook) |
| Man City title price | 11/8 to 9/4 (Betfair Sportsbook) |
| Arsenal title price | Evens to 8/11 (Betfair Sportsbook) |
| Betfair Exchange relegation price | 4.9 (Betfair Exchange) |
| Matchbook price to finish bottom of the Premier League | 6.2 (Matchbook) |
