Hypercall launches Anthropic pre-IPO options market Monday

Published: 1 min read
A dim, empty hall at dawn where rows of dark metal stands stand silent, their blank glass panels catching a thin grey light from tall windows.

Polymarket’s chance of a November Anthropic IPO fell to 51% as Hypercall’s launch coincides with a Nasdaq tech selloff.

The hit

Hypercall is launching what it calls the first options market tied to Anthropic ahead of its IPO, according to The Block. Trading starts Monday with cash-settled calls, puts & more complex strategies, running around the clock but closed to US customers.

Why it matters

These contracts give traders a way to bet on Anthropic’s value before the shares actually list, without ever owning stock or voting rights. Payouts hinge purely on strike versus reference price at expiry. For bettors, that means exposure to swings in IPO sentiment itself, not the company.

The record

Hypercall options volume $536m notional traded in September (Hypercall founder Jake Sylvestre)
Polymarket odds of November IPO fell from 88% Tuesday to 51% Thursday
Kalshi odds of IPO before 1 December fell from 88% to 60%, on $4.9m volume
Anthropic S-1 filing filed 26 October, to list on Nasdaq as ANT
Anthropic first-half revenue $16.3bn, against $9bn in compute spend

What happens next

Watch Polymarket & Kalshi’s Anthropic IPO-timing contracts through December, plus whether Hypercall’s options trade once the Nasdaq listing under ticker ANT actually happens.
