InfoBets investigation into Vave & AffPapa, illustrated with authentic original brand marks.

AffPapa’s Vave Partners article remains live. The Dutch gambling regulator fined Chestoption SRL €3.082 million over unlicensed Vave.com gambling, after an earlier final order failed to stop the breaches & penalty payments were forfeited under that order.

Evidence cut-off: 2 September 2026.

Correction & source clarification — 5 September 2026. The fine was signed on 9 June 2026 & announced on 17 June. The chronology previously used the announcement date as the fine date. The company name now follows the signed decision; the Australian blocking date remains April–June 2023, with its matching report linked.

What AffPapa published or retained

AffPapa’s Vave Partners partnership article remained live at the 2 September 2026 check.

What the authority did

Netherlands — Kansspelautoriteit: Chestoption Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada was fined €3,082,000 because it offered gambling without the required licence through, among other sites, Vave.com. KSA’s earlier order against Chestoption became final & irrevocable; a recheck found the breaches had not stopped. This does not by itself prove Chestoption was the operator when AffPapa formed its 2023 relationship, or identify the present operator.

Chronology

  1. 22 February 2023: AffPapa announced its Vave Partners relationship.
  2. April–June 2023: ACMA included vave.com in Australian blocking action.
  3. 18 December 2024: the Dutch KSA imposed an order subject to penalty payments on Chestoption SRL.
  4. 30 April 2025: KSA published the order & later stated that the breaches had not stopped & penalty payments were forfeited.
  5. 9 June 2026: KSA signed a €3.082 million fine against Chestoption for unlicensed gambling through Vave.com & other sites. It announced the fine on 17 June.
  6. 2 September 2026: AffPapa’s Vave Partners article remained live.

The question this case raises

What review followed Chestoption’s fine? The decision does not itself identify the operator when AffPapa formed its 2023 relationship, or establish today’s operator.

Reply record

InfoBets’ record says AffPapa & the relevant brand were invited to reply by 20 August 2026, 17:00 CEST; none was received by the 2 September cut-off. Silence is not an admission.
