Rachit Bhatia, a former Ranji Trophy player, told an undercover Tehelka reporter he fed Chennai Super Kings’ playing XI to London bookmakers via Snapchat for five IPL 2025 matches, earning Rs 60 lakh a game. The player who allegedly supplied that information was not named in Tehelka’s original report, but journalist Pratyush Halder later identified him on X as Vansh Bedi, a CSK wicketkeeper. Bhatia also admitted bowling two deliberate wides for Rs 16 lakh in 2018-19.
