Kalshi lands first NBA team deal with Philadelphia 76ers
The tie-up follows LeBron James’s separate, reported $15m-a-year Polymarket deal.
The hit
The Philadelphia 76ers have signed a multi-year deal with Kalshi, the first NBA team to name an official prediction market partner, according to Yogonet. The deal lands days after the NBA itself named Kalshi & Polymarket as preferred prediction market exchanges.
Why it matters
Prediction market firms are moving from league-level sponsorship into team-level deals. A Kalshi spokesperson said safe, responsible innovation requires leagues, exchanges & regulators to work together.
