What a sponsored story is.
The same page a news story gets, with three differences a reader can see: the label “Sponsored” above the headline, one line under the dek (“Paid for by <your company>; InfoBets wrote & edited it”) & no programmatic ads on the page. Your links carry rel=“sponsored” & the story is marked sponsored in the page’s schema. It stays on the site & our corrections policy applies to it.
- The story. 130 to 320 words in the desk’s structure: the hit, why it matters, the record (a table of your figures), what happens next, sources. Every fact traceable to something you sent or something public.
- The cards. An OG image for the link previews, a 4:5 card for Instagram & Threads, a story card, & the record as carousel slides.
- The burst. One post per network within the hour of publishing, on the accounts of the desk it runs on (all three desks for a network story), each in that network’s length & with the link where it belongs.
- The numbers note. On day seven, one email: page views from our own counter, impressions & engagement per network from the networks’ own analytics. No estimates.

The stats page is updated by the desk every morning at 06:40: stories published, views from the site’s own counter, followers per network. Nothing on it is estimated; a number we cannot read is left out.

- We write it. The draft comes back in the desk’s format within two working days. You check every fact & figure. We keep the words, the label & the disclosure.
- It runs. Published in a weekday slot between 08:00 & 21:00 CET, the burst within the hour, the numbers note on day seven.
What money does not buy.
News coverage, or a softer or shorter version of it. No story is removed, delayed or reworded for a sponsor, & a sponsor gets no say over news stories about it or anyone else. No links inside news stories. No opinions. No consumer promotions, bonuses or odds, anywhere. No work for operators marketing to consumers in a market where they hold no licence, & no work we could not stand behind under our editorial standards. Every claim in a sponsored story must be sourceable; if it is not, it does not run. The Sponsored label appears on every surface the story appears on. 18+ everywhere.
